About the Project

In this project, we have proposed a Smart Mirror Device for Boutiques and Salons to display an augmented 3D representation of the user with desired clothing as well as makeup features before purchasing the products or opting for the services. This mirror will help the target users to see how they would look like viewing the possible outcomes of their desired choices without affecting the real face appearance in the process. With the help of these grooming and styling features, the user will be able to make his/her preferred choices with confidence.

Analysis & Solution

Fitting rooms are typically small and cramped.
They are often limited in how many items they can have at a time.
Many fitting room are are dingy, with bad lighting that makes almost anyone look worse for wear.

It has been found that smart mirrors/virtual mirrors help increase customer engagement and sales. Fitting rooms haven't exactly kept up with the times. Many are dingy, with bad lighting that makes almost anyone look worse for wear. By providing your customers top-class services such as trying out clothes using a smart mirror, you can improve customer engagement to a great extent. It would also help you in achieving the desired level of customer satisfaction. Trying various clothes using a virtual mirror not only saves their time but also makes them try different clothing without the need of using a trial room. A smart mirror is also capable of displaying a 360 view of your virtual model while you try new clothes.
